MICROSOFT OFFICE APPS NOW OFFICIALLY AVAILABLE FOR ANDROID SMARTPHONES

Microsoft has released Office for Android smartphones, after releasing a preview version a few days ago. In January, Microsoft previously released the popular productive for suite iOS and Android tablets.
The app’s interface is similar to its iOS counterpart, which allows the users to create and edit drafts on their phones. The app hasn’t been designed to handle the full workload. Users can make simple edits to documents, spreadsheets and presentations though. Microsoft has also introduced full Dropbox and One Drive support for the Android version.

In April this year, CEO Satya Nadella revealed that Microsoft Office for iOS and Android was downloaded approximately more than 100 times. For the past few months, Microsoft has been ensuring that its products are available across all platforms. Microsoft is trying to retain the MS Office customers by offering them a version of its popular software for free on Android, iOS and Windows phone platforms.
