I went shark fishing on a large lobster boat leaving Alma, New Brunswick. It was a 12 hour trip and you come back in when the tide comes in. That is the most I've ever thrown up in a 2 hour period. I think 4/5ths of us threw up (us, being the sport fishermen), and the fifth was in a fetal position with his hoodie covering his head.
I still remember the moment we cracked. One guy asked the captain if anyone has thrown up, and the captain replied, "Sometimes". The guy replied, "Well, I think I'm going to get sick." Then I said, "You're not the only one..."
Instantly he ran to one side of the boat, and I ran to the other. When I brought my head up, he was beside me. I asked, "I thought you went to the other side?" He replied, "The wind was blowing towards me..." Good times. I'll never do it again.
