The asana alleviates stiffness in lower back also reduces the backache. It also stretches calves and inner thighs.
Steps:
1.      Lie flat on the yoga mat and while exhaling raise your right leg upwards.
2.      Try to touch the big toe of the right foot using your right hand.
3.      Keep the left leg and left arm straight.
4.      Hold the position for 10-15 counts and repeat the same steps using another leg.
5.      Practice 5 cycles every day.
