For A Hassle-Free Travel, Take Care Of Your Nails First

If you are on a long vacation, you certainly don't have the time for a manicure. However, that doesn't mean that you should eat with hands or that you should not take a selfie with the victory symbol because you have dirty nails.

Here are some nail hacks for when you don't have a salon service at your disposal, but don't want to cut your nails.

1. If you have a broken nail, a matchbox can help you. Until you get hold of a nail file, rubbing the broken nail on the strike pad of a matchbox can prevent it from breaking off from the core.

2. To get dirt off your nails, use a toothbrush and dip it in warm water and soap. Scrub your nails and you would have dirt-free nails, just like you wanted.

3. If you have cracked cuticles, use butter to soften them up. For the extra shine that you might not like, it can easily be wiped off using a tissue. If you don't want to buy butter, the small packets that you get with the hotel's breakfast is just okay.

4. If you are brave enough to apply nail paint while you are traveling, there still are chances that you have a mess around your cuticles, and the chances of not having a nail paint remover are even bright. However, a hot shower would help you get rid of the mess.
