Drawing bizarre designs on your nails is passe now. Fashionistas have gone a notch higher and are welcoming the trend of 3D nail paints, i.e. the bubble nail art.
If you also want to sport a bubble on your nail, but don't have time to rush to the nearest parlour to get it done, fret not! You can do it yourself at home too. All you'd require is acrylic paint, some reference designs and dollops of creativity. To begin with, try out the below-mentioned steps.
Dilute acrylic paint with water: Take few drops of acrylic paint in a tray and mix two-three drops of water in it. Select its colour as per the colour of your base paint. Don't add too much or too less water to dilute the acrylic paint, which is a fast-drying paint.
Apply base colour on your nails: Before making bubbles on your nails apply a light colour shade on them or colour of your choice. Let it dry.
Make dots on the base colour: After applying base colour, use a brush to make dots with the mixture of acrylic paint and water. You can use a dotting tool or bobby pin for this.
Wipe off your brush every time after applying the dots: Use the brush to absorb the diluted paint applied on the nail. If you don't have a brush, you can use a q-tip.
Keep wiping off your brush: Wipe your brush whenever you apply different colours on your nails which are made by mixing acrylic paint and water. Or better, use different brushes for different colours to get that perfect finish.
A layer of coat to finish off: Apply a layer of top coat on your nails after making the bubbles to sign off.
