You Would Love Driving More After Knowing These Car Hacks

Driving is an art, and every time we have a good drive, it leaves us content, yet wanting some more. However, given the traffic and congestion drivers face these days, it's become more of a burden than a pleasure, which is why we have to come up with some hacks to make driving more fun. Read on!

To cool down a hot car, do as the scientists would do.

How To Cool Down A Hot Car In Minutes

When you have to park your car out in the sun, with its doors and windows closed for safety, the first thought that crosses your mind is the hot temperature that you would find inside your car.

In that hot temperature, it would be difficult not only for you as the driver, but also for anyone giving you a company.

We bring to you a simple life hack that would help you cool down your hot car in a matter of a few minutes, and that too without having to sit in it.

When you reach your car that has been standing in the sun for long, just roll down one of the windows. After rolling down the window, walk to the other side of the car and open and close the door five to ten times. This would help you cool down your car without having to switch on the AC.

The science behind this little technique is that doing so will create a circulating air flow inside your car. That air flow would force the hot air ensnared in your car out in seconds, giving you a convenient car temperature to sit in.

DENT

If you have been through an unfortunate incident the marks of which are borne by your car in the form of dents, take some dry ice. Wash the area where the dent was, apply dry ice over there to the area of the dent and let it sit for a good few minutes, rotating it around the dent area. Needless to say, wear gloves while doing so. Do so until the dent is considerably gone.

LOOK BETTER AT THE ROAD

Since ages, we have been thinking that the right way to adjust the side mirrors of the car is when it shows the edge of our car along with the road. However, studies have shown that the side mirrors of cars should be adjusted in a way that you don’t see your car at all. When this is done, you would not have to turn your head while you change lanes.

HYPERMILING

To save money by saving fuel, remember the term ‘hypermiling’. This includes carrying less stuff in your car, driving at the speed limit to reduce the pressure on engines, pushing the accelerator gently yet quickly, turning off your engine when stopping for more than a minute etc.

NO EXTRA KEYS HERE

Don’t overstuff the keychain that carries the keys to your car, because when too much weight is put over the inside of the ignition, it tends to wear out earlier than expected. Unbelievable, but true!
